A recruitment notification has been published by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) announcing 733 state services and subordinate services posts. Candidates who are between the age group of 21 to 40 years are eligible for different Rajasthan Administrative Services posts. To get hired for the released vacancies, candidates are required to pass the selection process that involves prelims, mains, and personality test/viva voice. RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 2024
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission specifies some basic eligibility parameters for the RPSC RAS 2024 examination, so interested candidates fulfilling the specified criteria will be allowed to appear for the selection process. Age limits and qualifications are necessary eligibility that must be fulfilled.
Age Limit (As on 01/01/2025)
Those who are between 21 to 40 years of age as on 1st January 2025 are eligible to apply for the RPSC RAS 2024 recruitment drive. It must also be noted that relaxation is provided in the upper age limit as per the rules of government for some categories of candidates which is discussed below
- Male candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/BC : 5 years of age relaxation
- Female Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/BC : 10 years of age relaxation
- Women candidates from the general category : 5 years of age relaxation
Educational Qualifications
To become eligible for various state services and subordinate state services posts under RPSC RAS Recruitment 2024 candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a university incorporated by the act of Central & State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or an equivalent examination recognized by the government of India
RPSC RAS Recruitment 2024 Application Fees
While filling out the RPSC RAS online application form,
- General/EBC/OBC categories candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 600/-
- ST/SC/PwBD categories candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 400/-
- This application fee is non-refundable and needs to be paid through the online payment modes.
RPSC RAS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
As per the RPSC RAS Notification 2024, the selection of candidates for various state services and subordinate service posts is based on a three-stage selection process that involves a prelims exam followed by mains exam and an interview. Those who qualify for all 3 stages are hired for the released vacancies.
1. Prelims Exam:- Candidates selection for RPSC RAS Recruitment 2024 begins with a preliminary screening test of 200 marks. The candidates need to pass this examination to advance to the next stages of the selection process.
2. Main Exam:- Those who passed the RPSC RAS prelims exam get shortlisted for the mains examination consisting of 4 papers for 200 marks each.
3. Personality Test/Viva Voce:- After successfully qualifying the prelims and mains examination, candidates are required to appear for the RPSC RAS Viva Voce 2024 for 100 marks for their final selection
